Mist, hab mir auch invidious.pro geholt, da es auch unter halcyon genutzt werden kann, was mir gerade bei der Sichtung der neuen config.ini aufgefallen ist. Tja "In src/invidious.cr:20:1
20 | require "markdown"
Error: can't find file 'markdown'"
Schade, gibt noch keine Invidious Instanz, scheint noch nicht ausgereift für Deb10.
Oh what, a update to halcyon including nitter? Nice. A wild .pro domain appeared, nitter.pro 🤺 . Would it make sense to tor this aswell? @nipos aka would this be good for the torified halcyon?
Do you help run a federated or decentralised service in Europe -- or know someone who does? Please pass this link on. It's the application to meet politicians to discuss how the EU's copyright filters (Article 13/17) will be implemented. I worry about a backroom deal struck between Facebook/Google that excludes the next generation of open Net services: https://ec.europa.eu/digital-single-market/en/news/organisation-stakeholder-dialogue-application-article-17-directive-copyright-digital-single .. Please speak up!
halcyon updated to 2.4.3 including the es_es which apparently includes ga_es ca_es
The support on domainssaubillig.de is stellar. That dude "registered" a domain by asking for authcode. I've registered the domain somewhere else since you couldn't set necessary glue records and registering would take up to 24h(most likely manually done). Right after I've sent a support ticket, that has been nearly 2 weeks ago. I've got 12 domains there, so I kinda don't want to open a case at paypal. But I might still have to do.
@florian thanks for the report and notfying me of the missing bot mark and replying on non-cloudflared websites. I've deactivated the bot to have it fixed, as it also makes no real point or statement, just posting an archive link is weird.
I've also recieved reports of it being plainly rude, which it possibly is, yes, but proactively telling people that running like half of the internet over one controlled network might not be the best thing to do is also kind of a good thing in my book.
I really hate the trend of some software being paid monthly based on user accounts on the server. Running everything as root user? Have a discount!
I mean yes it is kind of a good way to see how critical the server the software is used on is, like guessing how much stuff runs on there, but also shit for the above mentioned reason.
