The only big issue is the awfully complicated rewrite implementation via mruby-rack, which made me reverse proxy to a nginx server for rewrite/fancyurl heavy sites.

Ieji.de running under h2o, hopefully no errors occur, let's test by tooting.

First attempt of h2o mastodon was a complete failure. I might just end up proxying everything towards nginx instead for complex setups :/.

Okay die configs sind grob jetzt auf h2o angepasst. Nur manche rewrite kolosse werde ich wahrscheinlich zu nginx reverse proxien. Keine Lust die mruby Syntax zu lernen 🤠.

OK ich hör jetzt wirklich auf, Battle Royals mit 100€+ zu supporten. Neben Mavericks, welches es nichtmal aus der Entwicklung schaffte, ist Spellbreak Anfang 2023 auch Geschichte.

So jetzt *nur* ~50 nginx configs zu h2o configs umschreiben und acme.sh nutzen dann kann ieji.de auch http/3 :-)

Testing h2o webserver goes smooth so far. Did a test with a Browsergame I host. I compared live and test server, there is a considerable TTFB difference between the two.

I'm feeling experimental today, will try moving from nginx to h2o again. First with the test server and some unimportant websites of mine, later on I will attempt it with mastodon and its 50 headers and reverse proxy settings :)

Nachdem ich gerade 2 Stunden versucht habe das verkackte vcrun2015 17 oder 19 zu installieren und ich jedes mal nur absolut kryptische Fehlersülze rausbekommen habe möchte ich in den Monitor schlagen. Dann gibts halt keinen Space Engineers Server, meine Fresse, wie wärs mal mit nem nativen Linuxserver ihr Lappen.

Spoodle finde ich lustig. 6125€ im ersten Jahr für bis zu 1000 Nutzer plus 1225€ im Jahr für Wartung. Und ich denk mir so ja gut ein rpi tuts dafür auch. 😂

So die letzten Tage mit verbrannten Nacken und Muskelkater ordentlich gechillt. Heute werde ich mal wieder produktiver. Möglicherweise gleich mal das Update aufspielen. Ist ja minimalinvasiv.

Going to renew my Tyrshell project. Currently the dependencies are having apt-get, root/sudo and bash shell. Basicly a collection of oneliner to install the most recent nginx from source with specific modules, or fun stuff like setting your own tag, or to install mariadb from one of their repos etc. Also for various gameserver setups which sometimes otherwise would require extensive research, also including filling out a config via cli questionnaire. No docker, clean uninstall cmd included.

To do: Update Mastodon, try huginn, try fixing frama date being broke by default for every non French date template user.
